Love my stand mixer!

Love My Artisan Mixer

Thankfully word spread we were getting a
kitchen-aid mixer & we also got the pasta attachment. It has been amazing! Homemade pasta is delicious and now so easy to make.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have not used it enough, yet, to form a usability opinion. However I can say that one of the reasons we bought the K-A mixer...the ability to change the motor brushes, via the plastic access ports, externally. Our mixer does not have these access ports. The picture on the packing box, and the pictures while ordering it on line have the ports. Why were they eliminated ? Cost savings? I am disappointed and feel deceived. A second reason for an average rating... KitchenAid website is awfully slow...minutes just to change screens sometimes. No other sites are slow on my computer. Please look into and correct. Thank You.

It shorted out the 2nd time I used it, BUT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The one we traded it in for has been working fine. My boyfriend gave me this mixer and then immediately proposed, so because of the sentimental value I was more sad than I should have been when it shorted out in the middle of the second use. He exchanged it and the new one (same version) has been working just fine. It should also be noted that I grew up being a by-hand mixer my whole life so this is my first time using any mixer. I'll never go back. My arms are going to be so weak!
