Great concept. Needs some work

I have owned this for about 1 year. My 11 year old keeps it with her most days. I like knowing I can find her when she is with friends or on her bike. The calls are not always very clear, her end breaks up, so we have learned to keep it simple. I don't use the txt feature because it is unreliable. The unit stays charged for the day. It is frustrating in its simplicity as 2 buttons don't allow for much trouble shooting or accuracy. even still I will soon be purchasing a second one for my 7 year old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not what I expected..

Watch is very basic looking, kinda cheap screen..and battery doesn't last very long. Buttons are supposed to work but every time my daughter wants to hang up she has to wait til the other person hangs up..I don't know why that is and if you press both buttons to turn the watch off, it just won't work. Not what I expected and will probably return. It's definitely not worth $150. The only reason why I would probably recommend is because at least you can make phone calls from it.

GPS is horrible!

Half the time the GPS feature is not accurate or cannot pick up his location. Son fell and shattered the screen on the watch.

I have had issue after issue with this watch. I love the idea of it but it needs to be improved a few more times. It doesn't even track well, it says water resistant, nope, don't get it wet at all. The battery doesn't hold a charge for the day either. Dealing with the customer service at Filip is a nightmare.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Better than nothing????

Daughter loves wearing it... I like being able to call her to come home when she is at a friends house. Not sure about the battery life, I have it on 30 minute update intervals and it was less than 25% by noon without any voice calls or messaging. Also, not super accurate, its sometime not within it accuracy area but close. Makes you realize a 120 meter swath of area is huge when in the context of a public area like the zoo.
I love the idea of this watch... so much that I procrastinated on having the service cancelled after being unsatisfied wi the product.
The band is tight. Kid cant have chubby wrists... no solutions for this outside the weird spacers... which are hard plastic and uncomfortable... and insufficient. My child just turned 7 and has outgrown the watch already. Its too tight.
Low phone volume. Its hard to hear the call when using the watch. Child often cant hear me ... I usually just listen to her surroundings and decide if I am ok wi what I hear or not... i.e. I can tell if she is on the playground with lots of kids.
I wish they were committed to improving their product but Ive been waiting almost 2 years for them to put out a new watchband and NOTHING.
