Poorly made, horrendous call quality

I really want to like this thing and when it works, it's great, BUT I've only had it a month and I'm off to the store to get a new one. Yesterday it died during the school day. Also, my daughter can barely hear me on the thing and the GPS only works if you go into the app and constantly refresh the map page. My recommendation would be to wait. It really is a poorly designed product.

Garbage

My son has been using this for about 3 months. I don't know why we continue with this useless tool? GPS tracking is limited to a location ping every 15 minutes at best so by the time the watch alerts me that he has left school he is walking in the door. Battery life is barely 5hrs so I have to remind my son every morning to turn the watch on before he leaves school because it doesn't last a full day. The app that controls the functions of the watch is the worst designed and least intuitive piece of software I have ever used. It is definitely not waterproof. The sound quality is horrible both from the mic and the speaker (speaker volume can only be controlled by the customer support center and only during normal business hours).
I have to say a great concept but TERRIBLE execution on this product!!! save yourself the frustration.

Terrible Product!

I bought this for my daughter. After a few months of use, the screen cracked. It will no longer charge as mentioned in previous reviews. It is not suited for any regular use from any child that I know. Also, the GPS is slow and not precise. It would not be all that useful in a true emergency situation. The speaker is difficult to hear, especially with any background noise at all. It will also only receive texts from the app, not from a phone that is allowed to call for some reason. I would not recommend buying this product.

Waste of money

This product is terrible! The battery dies before my child even gets out of school. It sends me notifications even when it's sitting on my counter. Very unreliable! I would not recommend this to anyone. Might be changing to Verizon there kid watch is amazing and has a battery life of 2 weeks! 2 thumbs way down on the Filip.

Watch is not worth it my daughter got hers barely wet from a water fountain at school and it now it's garbage .

From the very beginning - Calls cut out, volume too low, GPS Doesn't update in realtime, all calls and texts don't go through, charge doesn't last more than 6 hours.
