Nice Printer!

The Artisan 835 all-in-one is awesome and probably the best all-in-one printer I have purchased to date. And Epson has been in the printer business like forever! One of the main reasons I purchased this model was for it's ability to print disc labels directly on CDs and DVDs. Works great with my wireless network as well. Only drawback is the drawers tend to be rather flimsy and paper falls to the ground if you do not manually pull out the output tray...which btw has to be pushed in in order to load paper and/or special forms. Would be nice if special forms could be loaded in the back or side vs the main tray. Another con, like so many other printers, is it cannot print banner paper. Another nice feature of this model however is the auto-feed tray at the top. It can also print and copy 2-sided AUTOMATICALLY, just like the big machines. :)

Excellent quality photo prints, great speed

Pros: Photo prints look professional, sometimes even better. Speed is really fast. Front panel is intuitive and easy to use. Looks sharp. can Scan PDF's to a memory card or USB jump drive. Wireless setup from front panel was a breeze.
Cons: Paper tray feels pretty flimsy. Epson Scan software setup a little flaky, had to manually set IP number in Epson scan config for network scanning.
Final thoughts: I really like this printer. I like the ability to purchase 1 color of ink instead of bundle. Hopefully the paper tray holds out, the exit tray folds out and seems like a easy thing to snap off.

I recently purchased the Epson Artisan 835 printer to replace the Epson Artisan 800 printer. I loved the old printer and decided I wanted the updated version. These are some of the things I like:
Easy to setup
Wireless network is easy to setup
Auto document feeder is great for faxes
Will print graphics on printable CDs & DVDs
Prints from iphone
If you're looking for an inkjet all-in-one printer, this is the one to get!

Great product

This is my 5 Epson printer I've been a loyal because Epson printers have proven to be work horses and easy on ink.
This printer does everything - and it does it via wireless. I can print pictures, documents, email, and contact information directly from my iPhone faster than from my computer.
One printer handle - Printing, printing 2-sided, copies, photo print, fax, CD Printing, scanning. and it has a document feeder. All wrapped up in in a Beautiful cabinet and built with Epson quality.
What more can you ask for?

Epson Artisan

Epson just keeps getting better!!! I love my Artisan. It is snappy quick in making copies, I was able to easily hook it up to my network so I can print anywhere in the house. The photos are gorgeous and very easy to print any size and my ancient family photos look great reproduced. Since I purchased my first Epson around 15 yrs ago, I have not looked at any other brand. The individual ink cartridges were the initial draw and still are an important attribute. I now have 3 Epson products running.

Found the Artisan835!

I was in the market for an exceptional printer without the bugs I had with other brands. I bought the Artisan 835, my first Epson. This is the quickest photo printer I ever had, and beautiful photos to boot! Text is also just as impressive. My old fax sometimes worked and other times not, the software never worked correctly, but not with the Artisan. Every fax goes through every time on the first try, this is new to me! This unit is easy to install with or without a cable, I have a wired desktop and 3 wireless laptops connected quick and easy. Trust me, you'll love it too!

Much easier setup

This is the 5th Epson printer that I have purchased in the last 17 years. The setup out of the box has has become much better and far more intuitive.
The print quality is fantastic, especially photos.
I use the printer also to print matte faux art screen-prints, which I sell. These are of a better quality than I can get any other way (I seal the finished print with a spray UV varnish to preserve them.) I developed this process with the model 700 which has just been retired after 5 years of hard work. Totally recommended.
