Great Printer

While we have not had this very long I will say that the set-up and ease of connection was very easy. So far the speed and quality of print is better than expected and the quality of printed pictures beats our previous printer hands down.
If I had an improvement to say it would be that I don't care for the drab color of the screen. The Icons should be really in color, but again thats just my thought! Very nice Epson, keep it up.

Networking Problems

Went through the setup process, all connections were good, all updates made to software, all router settings good, firewall was open and it still didn't work. The setup could not locate the printer. Went through all of the troubleshooting points, NOTHING worked!

Don't bother with the included CD. Go to the web site and download the latest drivers and installation procedures. Even though it says to use a USB cable for the wireless installation, don't bother. It didn't work for me at all. The program would find my network, but never ask for the SSID, and so the installation would fail. Use the keyboard on the printer to connect to your network first. Then proceed with the software setup, checking the box that says your printer is already connected to the network. In short, the printer is great, but the wireless installation instructions lead to nothing but frustration.

Great Home Office Printer

Just put this to work in my home office. A snap to install the printer on my wireless network, and the software on my PC. Was able to begin using it in short order. Has all the features I need in an AIO printer - especially the automatic document feeder (no more scanning or faxing page by page by page on a flatbed) and automatic printing on both sides of a page - plus photo output and a card reader for home tasks. Prints fast and with excellent quality. Flexible paper handling. Really like the front panel touch screen interface - very intuitive. Small footprint, too, so it takes up not too much desktop space. Shopped this against other brands and the extensive feature set for the price was a winning value. Also compared costs of ink cartridges and Epson looks to be competitive on that dimension. I like the 6 cartridge design so you can replace only the ink cartridge you need at the time. Overall, seems to be a great value for the huge variety of features, paper handling capabilities, and price.

I haven't had it long, but I am thoroughly enjoying it. My last printer (not an Epson) was so difficult to use and I immediately felt "at home" with my Epson. The quality is also great.

Was medium challenge to set up wifi and devices but worth it. Epsom iPad print app works great with printer.
