I puchased this printer because I needed a dedicated printing and scanning solution at home. Our main computer is upstairs so I hooked this up directly via usb (allows for faster printing and scanning than wireless) to my main computer, and then installed the software also on our kitchen desk computer.
This printer works great! Great photo quality prints on Epson Glossy paper! I scanned in some professional photos, and was able to get better prints out of the Epson! My main computer is calibrated using a Spyder Pro, and I do a lot of work in Photoshop, so getting great looking prints is a breeze.
The other primary reason I got this printer is because I run a video production company and needed an on-disc DVD printing soultion. With the built in CD/DVD tray this printer performs like a champ. I can not believe how amazing the on-disc printing feature is. The DVDs really look professional, which is what I need!
If you need an All In One solution, the 835 is for you!

This review is written to inform about my first time using this printer,which demonstrated that the printer is easy to use. The clarity of the printed documents are bright and clean.
I like the design of the printer.
I needed help to set up the wireless connection with my computer and received great help from the Epson support department.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The representative from Epson that I spoke with today went above and beyond in his assistance with me. He literally spent 67 minutes on the phone with me, being ever so patient and very knowledgable, in walking me step by step through every bit of my set up and installation. In his time zone it was 5:30am on a shift that goes from1:00-10:00am. Thanks go to him and his dedication as an employee. Customer service is key in this fast paced world and he was wonderful!

Print quality is absolutely excellent! Haven't had time to check all the features, but prints are amazing. Printer and all its programs set up wireless without a hitch. Very satisfied with product.

I've only had it for a couple of days, but the print quality is magnificent! Had my old R300 for 12 years. It had to be retired. I wouldn't purchase any brand other than Epson! Connected with ease and I've just started printing. Fabulous!

So far a very good printer. Great wireless, sets up fairly easily. Other features easy to use. Nice quality photos. We have left it off for a month or so and turned it back on for a print job and no problems there. Like the low power consumption feature and ability to print direct from or scan to a jump drive. The only thing that might be a concern is the flimsy paper tray but we are careful and this will likely be a minor to non issue. If it continues to operate like it is for the long term, I would give it five stars.
