fancy, just great...
love it
My father got this printer for me as a gift, i use it for college and its such a huge help with presentations, reports and so much more.
My kids use it as well to make their own personal creations and they find it easy to use.

Mechanically Sound

After owning the printer for just a few hours I would say that this is a fairly sturdy printer. The paper slide out is flimsy and and paper tray is nothing to write home about, but overall this seems to be a good product. There is one caveat to this, I had a heck of a time to get a decent colored 4x6 out of it. My monitors are calibrated and the other printers on the network print fine, but this one wants to go cyan in a heart beat. I'm still messing with it but will need to get this corrected eventually so I can print out some of the smaller color proofs before sending to the Epson R1900. Color calibration is always a pain and this printer presents no exception to the rule.

While I do not used to wireless feature, the fax is great and the pictures quality is excelent. Set up is easy and the instructions are easy to understand. This replaced a RX595 that was 6 years old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The installation went smoothly and the printer was up and running in no time at all. I had been using an RX680 for quite a few years and the first thing I noticed with the Artisan was the speed of a color print...It was fantastic! The color quality was noticeably better and the picture was much sharper......Also, seems to be easy to use and the controls are straight forward and easy to understand...A really great buy!!

I purchased the Epson 835 Series in November 22, 2010. Since I had the Epson 835 Series it has worked really well
so far I had no problem with the unit at this time.

I just got the printer and set it up had a little problem with Driver CD came with the printer. I Called the tech support and the help me download new drivers from epson.com website.( windows 7) Just that little Problem,But the printer is Fantastic,I highly recommend it.

Color in pictures is awesome. Once I got familar with the changes from my last printer I like this unit even more. I like the larger viewer and the WiFi. I can now use my printer with my laptop from another room.
