Great little piece of equipment

I liked mine so much at work that I bought one for my home. It's easy to set up when you follow the enclosed instructions, and the quality of the printing is fantastic. Even the CDs are a snap to print.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Better than the Artisan 800!

I had to get this printer in an extreme rush. I had an Artisan 800 that was giving me trouble - needed new print heads - I had tons of ink for the 800 and wanted to get another Epson that used the same ink.
I've just printed 180 color copies of a brochure I'm doing for a Library fundraiser and the copies are beautiful!
I just wish the instruction booklet would tell how to use the "duplexer"!

Poor Black quality

When printing text documents the Black is more gray then black. Also the text is not very crisp at all. I know this isn't a laser jet printer, but at least the text should be black and not gray. I read a few other reviews saying this but i thought it couldn't be that bad. But it is very noticeable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything went well with set up & I'm impressed with quality of the printer & printing. Was worried about wireless connection but no worries everything went as advertised.

This Epson printer is the best printer that I have bought for my home-owned business. I've tried other brands and was impressed with them, but now that I've gotten the Epson Artisan 835 and played around with the many features it offers, I will recommend the brand to anyone that will listen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am using this printer primarily for photo printing. The photos are beautiful...much better than my HP printer. I went through the supplied ink cartidges pretty quickly; I'll replace them with the high-capacity cartridges to see the difference. The printing takes a little longer than I expected, but I print on the best quality setting and that adds to the time. (The 'regular' setting produced poor quality photos.)

I picked epson because of the photography details. I am not happy with it as a printer --too difficult to get the results I wish. The scanner part of it is lacking in control of the fonts, coloring , clarity & resetting of your scaner in general. The fax wiill take a million years to install correctly. Without a working manual , I find helo impossible. Yes I downloaded part, but bits & pieces of info are time consuming & not efficient for users . I am not new to printers & getting acceptable results and will not name my old printer I had for many years, but do wish it had replaced it with same product.

not as nice as i expected

I had an rx620 and I liked it much better so far. i do not see any real improvement in picture quality. It can't scan multiple pictures like I am used to. The paper feed is small and dumps on a flimsy tray. I am used to using my printer to print a variety of items I doubt this feeding system will do it as well. I really miss my old printer.
