I haven't had a lot of time to work with the printer but if what I have already printed is any indication of it's performance then I am delighted. It was very very easy to set up on my wireless network. I have tested all functions print, copy, scan and fax and found all working as they are described in the set up directions. Time will tell but for the price you can't go wrong.

Set it up very quickly no problems. Have not used all the features but the SCAN works real well. Able to scan two docs into one file for emailing. I did have a nice option screen when I first installed that has not shown up since. Maybe I'll find it again?? Seems to do everything.

Easy to understand and manage. Wireless connectivity is the reason I purchased this printer/scanner.

Epson is Simply the Best

With exception of one printer, I have exclusively used Epson printers and have no intention of changing this. I currently have an RX620 that I have literally worn out and was given a loyalty discount from Epson to replace this unit. The Artisan line is wonderful because of being wireless, and this is a great benefit if you have a laptop as my wife has learned. The only think that I would suggest Epson improve is the paper tray, which is somewhat delicate. You simply have to be careful with it and there are no problems, but it is different. One area that I really wish Epson would do is to drop the price of their ink. I print a lot of photos and NOTHING compares to Epson. I think their ink is overpriced, but that is the only negative that I have ever had with any Epson printer.

A little tricky to install the wireless feature but besides that, printer is great. I recommend this printer for personal or home office use.

Very Disappointed

I have enjoyed the Artisan 800; the pictures are sharp and the inks appear to be stable. However, unlike earlier Epson products that I have had for 10 years or more, this printer stops working when various components wear, which they have done in less than 3 years with light use during that period.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
