I just purchased my Artisan 835 and am so impressed with the ease of setup and that is was so easy to set up on my wireless network. I have been unable to print from my laptop because I couldn't get my old printer on the network. But this works fantastic and so easy! The color and print quality is just beautiful. So far it's 5 stars from me!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I upgraded from the Artisan 810 to this 835. Both are excellent. Fast and efficient.

I have never been able to set up a wireless printer on my network. But again I tried with my new Epson printer.
I always failed the set up instructions. Today, Victory is mine.

The Great the Bad and the Okay

The Great
Epson Artisan series provides lab quality photo results without banding. I attribute this to the 6 different color cartridge system and the variable drop size. Borderless printing is another great plus for face mounted matting.
Good user interface.
Relatively fast inkjet.
The aesthetic curves and gloss black case.
The Bad: small capacity ink cartridges get sucked dry too quickly. CIS is recommended. Print a full color print once per week to prevent drying/clogging. Ink pads should be an easily replaced expendable, but are not. Borderless printing likely soaks the ink pads sooner.
The Okay: Fax is slow compared to dedicated higher end scanners. Duplex not available over wireless.

Picked this up as a way to print disc's, and give them a nice finishing touch. Had a bit of trouble figuring out the "Disc Print software" but one trip to Epsons web site had answered all my questions. It is a nice all in one printer. No doubt about it...
I would recommend this to a friend!

epson 835 printer

I had another epson printer several years ago which I was happy with. I was also starting to print my own pictures plus I was looking for an all around printer. I found the 835 on sale an bought it. The setting up was very easy. The hooking up to my wireless network was a breeze. Not a hitch with the setup. Prints of my photos are also great. I would recommend this printer to anyone who needs a great office printer that wants great looking photos as well.

Black and white copy quality illegible. Had to copy in color to get barely legible copy.
Photo prints totally useless - eating expensive photo paper to spit out a small band of dim color at the top.
Maybe it's best as a FAX? haven't tried.
