Beautiful Pictures

The picture quality you get when printing on this printer is amazing! Even pictures printed from emails and phone cameras are beautliful. I had some trouble hooking up the wireless to my laptop but that would be my only complaint and it probably was my lack of tech experience that was the problem. This printer really has everything you need.

This is the 3rd Epson all-in-one I have had. The previous one was the Artisan 800. This (835) is "almost identical" but with a few more and upgraded features. (The first one I had was the RX600) Very user friendly, incredible photo quality, great scanner. But the one feature that I REALLY WISH IT HAD is the 4-slide (35mm) SLIDE SCANNER ACCESSORY that I DID have with the RX600. Does anyone know if there is an optional accessory for this for the Artisan 835?? I still have a lot of slides to scan.

I am a photographer. This printer is excellent. The 4x6 printout set to normal quality prints in 10 seconds and looks just as great as the best quality which takes around 50 seconds to print. But this is an overall excellent printer. It prints great quality onto a CD/DVD as well.

I Like This Printer!!!

After reviewing several printer brands I purchased the Epson Artisan 835.
Set up was straight forward and very easy. Everything has been designed to be user friendly. No problems encountered and when I finished the setup everything worked perfectly.
I had several concerns when choosing a printer. (1) Would the new printer equal the quality prints of my old printer? The Artisan 835 does indeed equal the print quality of my old printer. The photos I have printed look beautiful.
(2) Printing speed. I was not disappointed here. Print speed was very fast, especially photo printing, compared to my old printer with no loss of quality.
(3) Ease of use of the controls. The touch screen is laid out very well and is easy to use.
(4) Ink use. Like my old printer the Artisan 835 had individual color ink cartridges. This was also a condition that had to be met or I would not have purchased this printer. I hate having to replace a whole multicolor cartridge because I used up one color. The setup instructions say that a large portion of the ink in the ink cartridges would be used to prime the printer. So far, with the priming and all the printing I have done, this printer seems to be much easier on ink that my old printer. I would have expected the ink level indicator to show more ink usage than it does at this point. Extra life ink cartridges are available, a plus, that I will be taking advantage of when it comes time to replace the ink cartridges.

Using the free Epson Print App I just printed my first photo wirelessly from my iPad. I bought this printer on sale for $179 at Office Max and set it up in under 30 minutes for print, fax, scan, photo. Easiest installation ever, and my first photo from the iPad is just gorgeous. It is quiet and fast. I also printed a photo from an SD card out of my DSLR. It's a no brainer. Get one.

I would because it has the picture restore. I have so many that are discolored. This is my 2nd Epson, I am also glad to have the Fax feature. I would not have bought another one, if I wasn't happy with Epson. There support is so good with answering my questions. I never looked at another printer, because I knew what I wanted to buy.

Great product! Great features! Had a minor problem on wireless setup - called tech support - was up and running in just minutes. Wow - very short hold time in "Prime Time." Completed setup on wireless network and then verified other functions worked properly - very thorough. Very impressive!!!
