I am extremely happy with my Artisan 830 All in One printer. It was very easy to set up on all 5 of the computers in my house (4 laptops and 1 deskstop). Me and my wife both work from home and was surprised at the range of the printer. The quality of pictures and prints was amazing. I set it up on my android phone and printed documents from it also. It did take a couple of minutes to print from my phone but will certainly come in handy if my laptop is not on at the moment. We are extremely pleased with this product. Thanks Epson.

Prints light blue vertical line every inch across my landscpe photos. NO information in the users guide on how to setup and use the two sided print option and the print on CDs option. This is my second attempt at writing this since my first attempt resulted in the web page expiring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just recieved my 835 printer today. I'm giving it five stars on the set up alone. I hooked my desktop, and two laptops up. in just under three hours which included the unpacking etc. I must say that the set up is a lot better then the 800. I comme bak later and give my opinion on the other things at a later date.

Epson on a Mac

I chose this model as it is rated best in class and believe me, this All in One is truly the best. It does everything and more than I can ever learn without spending days absorbing all the functions, which is worth the time.
The only negative is if you are using the Mac with OS 10.6, (Snow leopard) you can not directly scan using this Epson. Hopefully, Epson and Apple will resolve this issue soon?? Just wish Epson had been upfront about that issue. If you want to use the OCR that comes with this Epson, you can not as the scan doesn't work. This is a big minus for this all in one for the Mac OSX 10.6.
I love all the rest of the features, but I love to scan and this issue is a major one for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I switched from a HP 7200 series printer to the Epson because I had may freeze ups with the HP . and problems with faxing.
also alot of trouble with wireless connection to my laptops in the house.
I found the epson easy to install on my desktop PC and the laptops found the printer on my network easily.
I am not that computer literate so I think anyone could do this as well as I did without any problem!

Excellent all in one printer

This printer is sleek and fast. It installed flawlessly on 2 desktops and 4 laptops. The only drawback was having to use the printer buttons to install wirelessly on my first computer. After that, istallation was a breeze. This printer prints photo quality prints better than most photo labs and the included software is excellent. The large screen is a nice touch. All features seem to work flawlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have two other EPSON printers,an 825 photo, and a 9400fax, and I am very happy with both, but this printer I bought for my wife, she is into genealogy big time, it does everything she needs. the printing on both sides of the paper is great for both of us. But the quality of the photos is fantastic. that is what sold us on the Artisan 825, the color scanning is outstanding. This printer is well worth the money.
PS: no problem down loading the soft ware or hooking it up to the laptop.

I would definately recommend to anyone who is purchasing a printer to always buy Epson. I just purchased an Epson 835, my 3rd printer from this company. They are very easy to install and are great printers. I've never encountered a problem with any Epson products.
