Was amased how easy it was to make work wireless, easy softwear install , outstanding photo reproduction, very good price on ink, very quiet, a little slow when printing photos, scanner works great so far a great printer much better than hp or lexmark

Easy Set up

Although it challenged me and I need some very helpful guidance from the Epson Help Desk (Mary was Wonderful) it really was simple to get the printer connected to our wireless router which allows us to put the printer in a place convenient to the rest of our office and house. Now we can print from any of our laptops, netbooks or the desk top computer without any hassle. Looking very much forward to printing some great photos!!

Easy setup. Seemless downloads and software install on XP.... Super fast printing. Colour pages and photos. Excellent quality.....
Loading software onto Mac laptop next, should be fine.
New printer today so far so good as advertised.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One great printer!

This is a great all in one. Right from opening the box, the way it was packed the ease of removing the unit, the clear and concise directions. I set it up and followed the step by step chart, installed the ink and paper. i like the dual trays allowing both regular paper and photo paper to be loaded in it all the time. I followed the instructions and connected my printer through a network cable to my router. Then I installed all the software on all computers in the house. It was easy and trouble free on all installs but it was a bit time consuming..took a while for everything to load. Once the software was loaded, the printer works flawlessly, from all computers. The document quality is excellent, and it prints very fast. The photo quality is amazing! The best 4x6, and 5x7 photos I have ever printed at home. With the Claria ink, this machine excels at printing photos. The scanner is also excellent and works awesome..you can choose to send the scan to the on board memory card reader, or what I like ...you can send it directly to any of the networked pc's! The scanner is a little slow, but the scans are fantastic. The copy features are also top notch..with the document feeder, this machine performs like an office copier. There are so many great features on this machine..I have yet to try the fax machine, or two sided printing, but I highly recommended this machine.
Overall I gave it 5 stars..the only knocks I have to give it are...slow speed of scanning

I believe that I have chosen the right printer for me. I can't wait to see all the features that this printer has. My old one was nice but this one is going to be even better, I just know it, especially the ease of it, and it was easy to set up. If I can set it up it must be easy...Thanks Epson

So Simple

Hooked up Wifi through laptop and printer to desktop in about 30 minutes. All was straight forward and easy to follow.
Second Epson printer and they seem to get better each time.
Bought at local dealer have been shopping for a while. Just happened that the Epson Rep was in the store and he walked me through all the different printers and demonstrated each product. He helped make the sale!
Quality great and very user friendly!

Got this Epson 835 for Christmas. It was a breeze to setup on our home network, and simple to add to each of our computers. The print quality--out of the box--is fantastic!

No Instruction Book or Online Information

Given this printer as a gift. Small pamphlet (67 pages) contains no information on how to burn CD/DVD or what some the parts are or their function on the printer. Went online to find description of parts and functions and found none. Poorly executed website and instructions. If you have no experience with this item, it will leave you with a multitude of unanswered questions.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
