Artisan is apropos

THis machine is an "artisan." I am thrilled with the works of art that come out of the device. Although it is large and occupies a fair amount of space, it delivers big time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Setup was easy, photo print quality is excellent, speed is adequate. However, if you do a lot of color printing it goes through even the high capacity ink cartridges very quickly.
My biggest problem has been with paper handling. Both the input and output trays are pretty flimsy, and since when I use heavyweight paper (Epson brand, recommended for this printer), at least half the time it does not feed properly, I am constantly reloading the input tray, which requires pushing in and then pulling out the output tray.
I wish the Would you recommend this product? box had a Maybe button. I'm not sure whether to say Yes or No.

Artisan 835 - a great machine

I purchased the Artisan 835 when it was on sale and couldn't be happier. I have owned and used a number of different brands of printers for both personal and business and have found Epson products to be well built and overall easy to use.
The packaging of the 835 was thorough and the unit didn't have a mark on it. It functions perfectly. The design is sleek and modern and as I use it in a home office setting, it's a plus that it looks good.
It was easy to set up and the instructions are clear.
Overall, very pleased with the product and would recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent Home Office All-In-One

This is my first Epson printer - can't believe that I waited so long to get the best in photo quality. The Wireless set-up was a breeze, so much easier than my previous experiences with HP on a Mac network. The photo quality on Epson Ultra Premium Glossy paper is spectacular - better than one can get from neighborhood photo processors and approaching the level of quality from national custom labs - wonderful! All advertised functions - print, fax, scan & copy - work flawlessly. So far my only disappointment is with Apple - Epson printers are not yet enabled with the new AirPrint so that I can print directly from my iPhone. There is a work-around program, but I hope Epson & Apple get together soon to correct this oversight.
