This is one of the better printers I have used with duplexing ability. Almost as good as my photo scanner.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the set up was to do! I set up the wireless function using the manual keypad with no problem. The CD/DVD print feature works well. This is the main reason for the purchase. I bought one for my Dad for Christmas so he can get rid of all his USB cables as he has three computers that can share the printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

More often than not, a tipoff that a product is going to be REALLY GOOD--before you've ever operated the product itself--is that the set-up process is exquisitely clear and unamiguouous. That's the case with the Epson Artisan 835: a straight-forward set-up that delivers you efficiently to that Installation Finished button. As for the printer itself, I particularly like the flawless wireless performance. I can use my laptop all over the house and never miss a beat whent I'm ready to print. I also like the fact that you can have loaded simultaneously several types of paper, each of them in its own place in the sophisticated paper tray. No more pulling out, say, your letter size paper in order to insert your 4 X 6 photographic paper. Each coexists in the tray and is ready to go when you are. Another huge plus for me is that, although this model is not among the elite dedicated photo printers that Epson is famous for, it nevertheless produces stunning photographs that are sharp and color true. Never thought I'd get so enthused about a printer, but this one's got me singing its praises!

So far so good. I have found this printer much easier to set than the other brand that I had. I use a home network with three computers and this printer works like a dream.
The color pictures that I have printed out are the best that I have from any printer. The low profile is also a plus for space saving reasons. Scanning (which is my main object of use) is great. All in all I am very satisfied with the Epson Artisan 835 and would recommend this to anyone looking for the multifunction printer easy to use but yet with good results.

i just received the printer yesterday, it was a very easy set-up. made a copy of a picture and it looked just as good if not better than the original. I would of liked the black ink to be bigger than the other cartridges.
I would recommend this to a friend!
