Nice printer - How about apps for Mobile Devices

I love this printer.. the ease of its functionality and quick set-up (only 15 minutes)eless printer! This is my first experience with a wireless printing and I'm thrilled that all two computers in my household are connected via wireless.
I was also hoping to print from my Ipod Touch.. but it seems the printer doesnt support mobile devices. Are there any drivers or apps for this printer that will work on my Ipod Touch device?

Works as advertised

I upgraded to the 835 from a previous Epson all in one the RX700 which served me well for the past 5 years without a hitch. I wanted the wireless feature and the software and set up for wireless printing was easy to install on both a laptop and an Imac without any difficulty. I like the combined tray for both photo paper and regular paper. Photo quality on 4x6 prints is excellent and was pretty fast on the best photo option.

First of all, I had never set up a computer or printer (all-in-one) by myself before. I'm almost 70 yrs of age, but I followed the directions carefully, and lo and behold, everything worked like a charm!! I was so impressed with how it prints photos, I spent several hours printing out different scenes which had a variety of colors. I was thrilled with the results and how fast the photos printed. I have used the copier and scanner, but have not yet tried the fax feature. I'm glad I chose this machine!!

Artisan 835 Excellant Printer despite QA Problems

I purchased this printer in part for its support of direct CD label printing but I also use it for photos and general office documents. The print quality is very good as is the copy speed.
I had problems with two printers. The first printer worked fine except for 3 horizontal white lines across the display. Interestingly the Epson logo on boot displayed properly but everything else including photos had these same three lines across them. I returned the printer to the store in exchange for printer number 2.
The second printer display was fine but after initial installation, the setup menu did not contain page four. This is the page that contains the network setup. The printer did not come on line from a WiFi standpoint as well. After about an hour of troubleshooting the Network menu appeared and connected to the WiFi. Thereafter the printer continues to work as designed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've always loved the quality of Epson printers and this latest model that I purchased was so easy to setup on my Wi-Fi network and MacBook laptop... it worked the first time without any difficulty. I strongly recommend this all-in-one printer, especially if a person isn't as technically savvy... this prompts you all the way through setup. Very well done, Epson!

The first one I bought was defective. I returned it and got another one just like it. It worked fine and made beautiful prints. I use a wireless network and was having no problems. Weeks later the computer was unable to find the printer. I uninstalled and re-installed the software twice. The Network Status printout said all was well and the printer is getting an excellent wireless signal. When I try to print a photo the Epson print window pops up and it indicates that it is printing but nothing happens. I "sent" 8 photos to be printed and the print window showed 0/0 instead of 0/8. The photos were not sent to the printer. I had not changed anything in my computer or the printer. This came out of nowhere. I plan to contact Tech Support as I did with the first printer. The answer I got was "It's broken." I may take this one back as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
