very easy network set up for printing and scanning

Love this printer. Easy to use and set up.
(if you use multiple epson products a little tricky but phone support is very helpful). Had an artisan 800 and ADF was very sensitive - jammed a bunch. The lower the humidity the better. We'll see if they improved it in this one. excellent direct to cd/dvd printing.

I have only had this printer for a week, so far it has exceeded my expectations, I would highly recommend this printer, excellent print, fax & picture qualities.

Epson Artisan 835

This is my third Artisan printer, I have a 700, an 810 and now the 835. I print for my church and for our towns flyers. Things like the flyers for recycling are in the 600 double sided catagory.
The 700 did OK, but I found I needed to be able to fax as well, so I got the 810.
I then found the 810 does double sided prints saving me time and effort on longer jobs and now I have the 835 which does a bit better job of printing as well as has the fax feature.

Great Printer, ....BUT!!

Set up was easy and I have this printer on my home network. Printing pictures came out great as long as you have the Epson paper. Overall the printer is easy to use and produces great results. I especially like the multiple ink cartridge system.
HOWEVER, I was very disappointed when I tried to use the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). IT DID NOT WORK. The paper jammed every time right from the first sheet. I got the printer replaced easily enough, but felt 'short changed' when I was told it was a few days past the 30 day return period and they would only give me a refurbished printer.
Customer support is good and stayed on the line while I hooked up the new printer and tested the ADF to make sure it worked.
Thank you Epson for the extra ink for my troubles.

Better than expected!

This printer does everything it says it does and more. Very easy to setup. I use this on my primary desktop and 2 laptops. I have it hooked up to my desktop via USB and wirelessly to my laptops (this is something the FAQ says you can't do, but I did). Also says you can't print to holed paper, but you can as long as you keep the holes to the left of the paper tray and select rotate 180 degrees when printing. I do a lot of 2 sided printing where the 2 sides need to be aligned and print comes out perfectly straight. Didn't even have to align the Print Heads, printed perfectly out of the box. Fax right from the Artisan 835, through their software, or Windows Fax & Scan. Scanning is easy either through USB or wirelessly. You won't be diappointed in this all-in-one!

Great wireless printer

easy but a little time consuming to set up, adding 2d and 3rd computers wirelessly was a snap. Great photos using Epson print software. Text print quality adequate for home use. Scanning from printer to PC slow, but the reverse was fine.

I'm from the older generation, but I didn't have any problems setting up my Artisan 835 All-in-one printer, all by myself. It's so quiet when its printing it doesn't bother anyone else, and it does such a nice job, so clear and so fast. I love my new printer! NS

Just set it up today and have done some doc printing. Set-up was ok, a little confusing at first, but the guide helped to move it along. Speed and quality are excellent for document printing. Glad we decided on this printer.
