Never thought I'd say this but

I looked forward to the new Epson. I have only had Epson printers over the years. I print on dvd's and to avoid spending a fortune, I use epson. I am not happy with this one though. I find it tempermental, always getting jammed and I can't seem to print on full sheets of photo paper. My R300 was reliable and easier to use. It stopped printing the dvd's so that's why I got a new one. Am I doing something wrong?

My previous printer was the Epson R200, but I wanted new Wifi CD-Print combo unit. After setup, I was surprised how easy it was to configure to my other laptops, including a netbook running Ubuntu. Limited iPad printing is available with the Epson iPrint (no printing within email or safari)
How can this printer be improved? Something more compact with less real estate on the desk? AirPrint support for iPad.
Sorry to see this being replaced by the 837. I'm sure the new model delivers the same features of the 835, but faster.

I just bought this printer and wow!!!! I am amazed at how easy it was to set up and get started. The amount of stuff you can do with this printer for the price is a great value. I like the large size of the screen and how easy it is to use the main menu. It prints and scans fast just when you use the scanner make sure you scan through the program on the computer and not on the printer menu because it takes 5 times lomger.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a dandy

I go through printers fairly quickly. When the cyber gods have decided I know how to use one it goes kaput, with the model no longer available. The Artiswan 835 has lasted long enough to learn most of the features and, more importantly, when something goes wrong there is support available that can talk in close-enough English to a person who knows little about computers. With luck this printer will last and the bean countes do not get rid of the excellent support.

Great product, got it on sale. Bit concerned about cost of ink replacement.
Easy wireless set up on all imac's, laptops and iphone.
Wireless printing and scanning works seamlessly. I like IT!

Not the printer for me

I bought this printer this summer 2011. So I have had it for approximately 5 months. I am a huge Epson Printer customer. But I regretted buying this printer shortly after I purchased it. I have had numerous problems which have taken up entirely too much of my time. I need the all in one printer for scanning and printing. I use normal ink jet paper and professional photo paper. I have had horrible issues using the professional photo paper. Now I am experiencing error issues saying the cassette path is blocked. I cannot find anything to correct this. If you need this printer for only office paper printing, it might be okay for you, (although I can't even print on regular office paper right now), but if you print quality photos, don't buy this printer. I am ready to through this one through the window.

Suports AirPrint???

I cannot find any documentation in the owners manual that addresses the support of Airprint. The only reason I bought this printer was to be able to utilize this feature.

Great but short life

I love this printer. It has worked very well and has done everything I needed it to do with very few problems: printing CD/DVD labels, photos & text documents. Now, only 2 years old and I have to get another printer. I would recommend this printer but I would also have to say what problem I had.
