Setup was easy as pie. Plan on using up about 45-60 minutes from the time you open the box to final product registration. Most of the time was waiting for ink and software to load. Test print page was nice and quick. More about the print quality and ease of use later after I get some useage. So far so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love everything about this printer. I used the one my cousin had several times. I was looking for one for my small business & this was the one for me. It works like a champ!

I was extremely frustrated setting up this printer. fter spending an hour unpacking it, downloading the software onto my computer I get a message stating it is not compatible with windows 7 even though the box listed windows 7 as a requirement. So then I had to spend another hour uninstalling the software from my computer and finding information on line on how to install thte printer software that would be compatible with windows 7. I really feel Epson has dropped the ball on this by not including the correct software for the system requirements listed on the box. Now we'll see if thte printer is really as goos as is rated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best for everything!

I have been using the Artisan 835 for almost a year and have found it flawless (except when I do something stupid).
Colors are sharp and saturated. Black and whites are superior to any other printer I have used...even those that have an extra gray color.
It is economical not just because you can change one color at a time but for general printing of typed pages the "draft" setting is more than enough to get excellent quality. It is so fast that without the little elevated extension, papers have shot across the room.
I look forward to many years of use.

1st impression - 1st use

Great modern design with excellent features. I purchased this printer for dual use (for my home based consulting practice and for the family). It is much too soon to give a review on reliability and total cost of ownership, however, I am very impressed with the printers style and feature set. Upon 1st use, I briefly tested the printer by printing a couple of test pages and printing a CD. The text and graphics quality was not bad, and actually, I couldn't tell the difference in print quality between this printer and another very high cost professional printer that I recently used at a work site (although I am not a photographic or graphics expert). This printer is very economical, and is perfect for home based business or personal low volume use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great pictures

I am an avid scrapbooker and take lots of digital photos. I like being able to print them to the size and layout I want. I've had my printer one day and have printed some beautiful pictures! I'm one very happy customer!

The Epson Artisan 835 is a Great Printer!

I purchased this Epson 835 printer as a recommendation from a friend. I'm totally impressed! Set up was easy with no problems. The screen is easy too read and attractive. It prints quick and quiet. Excellent print quality with two-side printing feature. Paper feeds from a bottom tray and comes with full size ink cartridges. You won't be disappointed if you purchase this printer!

I really like my new Epson Artisan 835 printer. The printer is really fast. My photos turn out so good that they look like a professional printer printed it. The ink drying time is also fast. By the time the photo comes out of the printer, the ink is dry. Keep up the good work on your Epson printers because that's the only brand I will buy. Also, thanks for making your printers so affortable.
