This is my second Epson printer to date, the NX_125 printer was a Ink hog, it seemed like, for the amount of printing/pictures I printed it was no where a fair exchange. Now I was recommended by a Sale's Associate to purchase the Artisan 835. I have now went through the setup and installation of software and it was done without a hitch! I'm impressed by how easy it was. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but, this is the first opportunity to review it. hope this encourages you to give Epson a try.

Required a couple of hours setup time. A little confusing about plugging in USB cable when setting up Wi-Fi manually. Otherwise, no problem. Very pleased with print quality and ease of use so far. Love the way it allows you to select photo to print from camera card. Bear in mind I haven't used it but one day. Haven't printed from internet yet. Will update later.

This is my second Epson Artisan printer. I own an 800 series and now the 835.
It is very functional and the menu bar is very informative---so if you can think what you need or want to do, just search the menu and it will be explained.
It is very easy to replace the ink cartridges and the printer occupies so little desk space.
I would like the printer to hold a little more paper, but I think Epson solved that with the Artisan 840. But, I wanted this one because the ink is interchangeable with the Artisan 800 and the Artisan 835.
Any time I have a question, I just contact www.epson.com and I will have an email answer in less than 1/2 day.

So Far So Good

Just installed software on a MAC over my wifi network and it all seems to be working just fine. Set-up was relatively easy. Print quality on test pages seems good. Design is sweet, but watch out for this extra "hump" on the backside of the device (? Duplex mechanism ?) which makes the unit much deeper than initially imagined. Good stuff.

I purchased the Artisan 835 to replace my Artisan 800 that was given too my Daughter. I would not have bought it twice if I were not satisfied with the 800 that was given to her.

I'm 66 yrs and was able to setup this wireless printer effortlessly. The photo printer is great. I love the control panel it's big and easy to use. I haven't had long but generally I have problems just setting a printer up. This one was a piece of cake.
