First impressions

Receive the Artisan 835 for X-mas. Setting up the printer itself is easy The set up however uses up almost all of the included ink! If this is the case then I think they should include two sets of ink. One to prime the system and one for printing. After all who has an extra set of ink cartridges when you just opened the box! So until I get my order of replacement ink I'm a little limited in how much I can print.
I had to run set up twice on every computer. The included disk has compatibility issues with Vista and Windows 7. Come on were getting close to windows 8 lets update the included software! Anyway I had to have windows solutions search for a fix which is just updating the drivers from the wed site. Not hard just a hassle. Once this was done connecting to the printer was a snap.
Aside from these annoyances it seems to be a great printer and I'm really looking forward to the wireless connectivity. No more carrying the laptops to the printer from another room and unconnecting and reconnecting the USB cable.
I would recommend this to a friend!

printer barly installed

as the printer has only been installed a few hours ago, we only noticed that the paper trays are rather flimsy for such a machine.
Otherwise, only the test page was printed and noting else will be done today.

For all the epsons I have owned so far this has been the best, easy setup even network and wireless were a breeze. This is one or even the best so far, and yes I know there a better ones out there but for the price you'll be happy

Epson Artisan 835

I love my Epson Artisan 835. I use it for everything, but mainly for photography. This printer prints at a professional level. I send my photos to Adorama in New York, but when I'm in a hurry, I use my Epson with the same confidence as Adorama.
Before I purchased my 835, I had a 830. I loved that one as well. I used it for years before I wore out the printer head. I should be using a high end professional printer, but the quality of this printer is just as good.
Epson is always supportive if I ever have any questions. Their customer service is superb!!!

I found the setup to be very straight forward and easy. Make sure that you follow the instructions supplied by Epson and you should have no problems. Wireless went very smooth

I love the way it takes you through setting up the printer. wi-fi is great. everything about it is awesome. The price of the ink isn't way out of your reach $ wise.

Best printer I have used

This is my first Epson printer and other than the paper tray, minor issue, it is the best printer I have ever used. I have used various printers for my personal use but none compare. The picture printing is fantastic as is the document quality. Epson, keep up the great quality product.
