easy to install for me anyway. Only one complaint and that is the ABBYY Sprint software that came with the install disk.
That program is hard to get rid of once installed and it did not work at all. I totally failed to see the use for it. I had to go to REGEDIT to delete it from my computer.
Epson needs to re-evaluate what they are adding into their install package for customers.
I would recommend this to a friend!

835 as a Replacement

I had an Artisan 810 but the paper handling mechanism went bad. The 835 looks pretty much the same so I hope I have better luck.

I struggled with other brands of printers and could not get either the connectivity, stop the paper jamming or get the print quality I wanted.
The Epson Artisan 835 was a dream !!! The setup was flawless. The wireless connectivity worked the first time and ever since. The print quality is fantastic and almost lab quality. This is the best printer I have ever owned.

After resolving a set-up glich with Customer Service, the quality of my first photo print was excellent. Eric, from Customer Service, was patient, courteous and very helpful.

This printer is great! All I can say is WOW! The pic's I print are amazing! Buy this printer people And don't settle for less! The investment is worth it!! Be smart and buy this> I own the Artisan 835 and its perfect for me!!

Great price on sale! Loaded software and install was as expected. No big surprises which was nice. The overall quality was great. Loved the screen...so nice and big! I just sent my first fax and scan...wow was that easy on the top loader. I have heard only two complaints on the 835. One was it grabs too much paper at times when going to print. Two the noisiness of the printer. It did grab too much but was solved when I backed off a bit on the paper guides. As to the noise its no big deal...dont know what all the noise is on that one. Glad to have this the workmanship seems top grade for a home unit and the print quality is superb!
