Good machine

So far the printer has been great. I've even used the FAX function successfully. I most enjoy the over size pages the printer will handle.
My major disappointment is the lack of support for LINUX operating systems. There is no excuse for not having the same level of service for UBUNTU LINUX as there is for Microsoft.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Print quality is good. Haven't printed any photos yet, but docs are crisp. Easy setup. Only complaint is that it is noisy. Bought it because of reviews and reasonable ink costs. Haven't figured out the duplex printing feature yet, which I want to use to save paper.

Best Printer I Have Owned

I have had this product since 2011. It has been fantastic. Unfortunately it is no longer made. When this one goes, I will buy another Brother. In fact, I did get a Brother laser printer which is also absolutely wonderful. None of my other printers have lasted as long.

this printer is great! the last one i had was a big headache,from running low on ink when you don't uses it that much. and it did not print letters.that printer was a mess! and to buy this printer,it's like night and day. i'm happy that i have a great printer in my home.

So far this is a fine printer. It communicates with my laptop without any issues. Black and white printing is good. Color printing could be better. I'm still playing with some of the settings so maybe I will eventually get a better photo print.

Paper tray frequently does not insert solidly when refilling paper, paper jams for no apparent reason, and printer throws errors with no way to identify.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has a good footprint on my crowded work area. Performs printing and scanning as expected. Seems very slow to load data to print from my PC.
