Love the watch. In past Garmin watches I changed face thru ConnectIQ, but liked default and data that have stayed with it. Comfortable and good size. Like that is waterproof. Has all activities you can think of

I am not a tech guy at all. This watch is very user friendly and easy to set up. I got my watch 2 weeks ago and battery is still over 50%. I use it to track my dogs with their Garmin collars and it makes tracking them much easier.

Great build and comfortable to wear but..

I love the build as you expect from Garmin and the 51mm is a great size for my wrist as I was on the fence with the 47..very comfortable to wear long term .. my only hang up and felt this was a miss.. was disappointed that it wasn’t touch screen .. and that was a miss on my part .. prefer both options as I have the Fenix 8 pro as well. Besides that it’s a great watch

Much improved screen over FENIX, overall very good

Much better watch than my FENIX 6, which apparently had a LAMO-LED screen. This one is much brighter. The basic “clocks” (clock faces) are pretty good. Much better than the two after market I tried. Seems like the FENIX had more options to change the data fields than the Instinct. I prefer analogue watch faces but the data field options in the factory and purchased options were very limited. However, I am overall very satisfied with it. Previously, I wore my FENIX only for runs or hikes. Now I wear the Instinct pretty much all the time.
