Garmin quality continues with new watch

Love it. Just retired my 12 year old Garmin fenix 3hr. It still worked great, battery needed charged every 3 days. This new one is packed with features. Hard to improve from my fenix but they definitely did.

All function are good but having trouble connecting to the app once the charge drops below 30% and there was some problem during initial connection and setup with the app. Other than that everything is good. I don’t know if it’s the app of watch that has problem

Like it very much. Replacing my Apple Watch. Love the battery time. Apple had to charge daily. It works seamlessly with my IPhone. There is a bit of a learning curve. But lots of Utube videos helped greatly.

Exactly What I Wanted

I wanted a rugged fitness watch, not another phone on my wrist. The Instinct 3 AMOLED has been perfect. Excellent workout, sleep and recovery data, outstanding battery life, a great display, and it’s completely unobtrusive when I want it to be.
The surprise has been how useful the extras are. GPS, compass, altimeter and barometer are great at the ranch, and Garmin Pay already saved me when I left my wallet at home.
There’s a learning curve to Garmin’s menus, but once customized, the watch simply fits my life. It does exactly what I wanted, plus several things I didn’t know I wanted.
Five stars. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Bought about a month ago and very happy with my purchase I had a coros watch for awhile and thought I really liked it but after buying this watch I realized again just how refined the Garmin’s feel and how basic the coros was compared to this

So far could not be happier with my new Amoled Instinct 3 50 mm. Thought the 50MM face would be way too large, but got used to it quickly and love the bold colors. All of the face options with adjustable colors and data are awesome. Still learning all of the features and functions. Highly recommend this watch!

First watch I’ve worn in 25+ years, and it’s just a little different than they used to be. Pretty cool device and I really like not having to look at my phone all the time to see what notifications I’m getting or to even answer the phone or not.
