Great Fridge!!

After 1 year with the fridge, this was a great choice. The space is ample, and have only once filled the fridge (when a very large party was held, and the whole top shelf was soda).
Only 2 draw backs found!! Our ice compartment tends to freeze the ice together, so we must open the compartment and knock a couple of times to let ice come out of the dispenser.
And the first time anyone gets water they end up getting water on the floor, because they leave the glass under the ice spout.
Neither are huge issues, so i recommend this product!!

My LG refrigerator is a dream come true for me. It has plenty of shelf space along with all the different storage bins for vegetables and fruits. The exta wide drawer for storing things that are too large for other refrigerators. Also the storage drawers have a choice of settings for whatever you want to store in them. The bottom freezer makes it easy to find what you are looking for without having to move a lot of packages. The skinny ice cube maker in the door doesn't take up space inside the storage area. I also like the ability to move a shelf back in order to store tall objects and still have lots of room for other foods. That's why I say "At last a refrigerator that fits all my needs". Thanks LG!

I love this new French Door style Refrigerator! Love the full view of seeing all of my food inside! Also the freezer drawer is awesome! Only thing that I would change would be to make the vegetable drawer larger. We eat lots of veges, and I end up using 2 drawers. Also the ice cubes are fairly small, but there is a pan in the top drawer of the freezer, so I dump ice in there as needed!

I looked at other reviews about ice maker, but when you put on the plus ice maker, we seem to have enough for our family. I don't think it could keep up with a large party. Love having all the light in the top and bottom, everything can be seen. No finding a container that you have forgotten about. Plenty of room in the freezer. We seem to have an LG Home. The products we have purchased are 2 TV's, washer and dryer, and now the refridgerator and very happy with all.

This refrigerator say away from it, it like to go through compressors every 18 months. DO NOT BUY IT.

The only reason I can't give it an excellent rating is because the ice dispenser clogs up every now and then and then you have to open the door and break the ice loose with a wooden spatula.

I did a lot of research before I purchased this refrigerator 3 years ago. My only complaint is with the ice maker. The ice tray continually gets off sync (from week 1) and eventually ends up, top side down. Then when it tries to fill the tray, the water builds up in the ice chute and freezes everything shut. When I reclock the ice tray, it works fine for a period of time then gets off sync again. Another problem, likely related to the sync issue is that it doesn't always break up the cubes. So I end up with a mass of cubes that will not dispense because the mass is blocking the chute and it cannot break it up with the dispensing tines. Other than that, this is a great product. It would be great if LG would redesign the ice maker and (at least) offer me an improved version at a reduced price.
