Good mower, bad batteries

Good mower, strong steel deck, good motor. Bad battery system. Needs the better flexvolt system with the mower. Only 1/4 to half an acre cutting per charge? Not so good... Comes with two batteries with single charge station for each battery. Takes overnight charging... First mower had to go back since an overnight charge only gave 9 minutes cutting time. Second mower better but still lacking on battery capability. Even cutting at a fast walking pace I only get about 1/2 an acre cutting with two of us taking turns to cut.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Terrible batteries

I purchase a DEWALT mower last year and had no problems with it. Now that I am trying to use it this year the batteries will not hold a charge to even start the mower. This is not acceptable for batteries to work one season on a battery power mower!!

Bought the 21.5 inch mower online in September 2021. Batteries have never lasted anywhere close to an hour, requiring multiple stops to charge. Are stored inside my utility room in the off-season at room
temperature. This season, they are down to 15-20 minutes with regular use, and now every time they are taken out of the machine they are hot and need to cool down before they will charge, adding to the delay. I spend the whole weekend just trying to get the grass cut. Very disappointing. Expected much much better from a company with the reputation of DeWalt.

Faulty batteries

I bought the DEWALT mower and really enjoyed how effective it was to cutting my lawn. Now I have to keep charging the batteries and this has turned into a 2 day process to cut front and back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awesome mower

I love my lawnmower. Green and make strong, but it’s one second summer now and batteries are not lasting anymore. Cut more with the 5ah batteries than with the 10ah. Please help. I cost almost as much for batteries than a mew mower

Bad batteries

Got a push lawn mower a couple weeks ago, said to have up to 1hr of runtime. First use the mower was working perfect, but batteries died after 25min. Took three charges and multiple days just to finish one cut of my lawn. Have many other dewalt tools, but this was a serious disappointment.

I bought the Dewalt 20V Max 21" mower. Everything worked well for the first several months. However, the batteries now last at most about 15 minutes. I am often not able to finish even the front yard, and we have a SMALL lawn! I though Dewalt was known for quality, but this product has changed my perception. I am very disappointed.

Have had 2 batteries die in less than 6 months. They have been used less than a dozen times in Dewalt Lawnmower and Blower.
