Great mower, poor batteries.

Have always appreciated the quality & use of Dewalt tools. Purchased a Dewalt push mower recently with these batteries. Mower is fine and very easy to use. But the 20v, 10ah batteries are not of what Dewalt quality normally is. Am lucky to get 30 minutes run time on these 2 batteries in use. Price of spare batteries is not worth the costs. First time disappointed with Dewalt quality. Maybe they should stick to tools.

Battery not working

Similar to other reviews, I too have battery problems. 1only charges to 1 bar causing lawn mower to not operate. Looking at new batteries but will compare other brands first

I’ve been very disappointed with these DeWalt 20V batteries. The quality has not lived up to my expectations. Over the past two years, I’ve had to replace them about three times, especially the larger-capacity batteries that I use with my lawn mower.
The charger works fine and charges my other batteries, but these larger batteries seem to fail far too often. For batteries at this price, I expected them to last much longer.
If you use your tools regularly, be aware that the larger batteries may not be as durable as you would expect. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend them.

Great reliable battery

Received 2 with a DeWalt mower they have lasted the entire mow fur 3 years now and had plenty for the trimmer

Sadly 1 of two of these died and no longer will charge that I used only a few times and I need the pair for my mower.

Defective Battery Model

I have 2 of these and they both have a power and charging problem. I’ve had them for a few years and the first went bad last year. Dewalt did not help with replacing because I don’t have a purchase receipt. It’s pretty obvious this battery is defective. I’m slowly moving over to Milwaukee Tools from now on.

Lasted three years

The batteries lasted three years and now will power the mower. They were great when working. I was able to cut the front and the back yard on one charge. Now they are fully charged but won't work. I used the batteries used in my power tools and they work so I know it's the batteries. Now deciding to buy new batteries or another lawn mower brand

Worthless

I have six of these ten amp hour batteries. I have had all of them turned in for warranty because they won’t hold a charge strong enough to operate anything more than a flash light. They are garbage. My three amp hour batteries out perform these by ten fold or more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
