Batteries are faulty

Just like everyone else apparently the batteries are faulty, or something in the mower is killing one battery. Either way I've got to get some more batteries or a new mower... gas burner this time.

Great mower, terrible battery

Worked fine this spring. Now I have to charge twice to cut both the front and back yard. Also overheats, which it didn’t used to do. Be nice to have a battery that you don’t have to charge for 3 hours to work for 30 mins.

Same issue as others

Bought my mower last year and the batteries were fine. First mow of the season it felt like the mower died quicker, but chalked it up to be longer grass due to all the rain.
Now one of the batteries won't last 5 minutes. I can pop in a 5 AH battery along with the other 10 AH battery and finish mowing whole yard without a problem.
I opened up a support ticket on this and hope to hear back from DeWalt.

Great mower bad batteries

The mower runs great but I’ve been through three bad batteries. Dewalt customer support has been good about replacing them under warranty but it’s an endless task they need to fix whatever is wrong with these batteries. They work for a few weeks and then I’ll hold a charge. Time to start over with a new battery product and replace all the bad ones out there.

Amazing batteries

These batteries have become a game changer! If you’re tired of constantly charging batteries I would definitely recommend these! They charge quick and last forever I can easily use the battery on a single charge for multiple days on the job site.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Faulty batteries

After 6 times mowing my yard the batteries dk not last more than 10-15 minutes it’s very annoying as when we bought it, the manual said it will last at least 1h. Looks like many have the same issue and it might be an issue from the factory.

Do Not Buy! 2 of 3 of mine went bad within a year!

Something is up with these batteries. I had 2 and one was bad right off the bat. I got a replacement. I took care of the batteries and put them in a conditioned storager room where they were not exposed to any extreme temperatures. The battery went dead within the first year of having it. I am so disappointed with them. Additionally, the batteries are very expensive and there aren't even good knock-off replacements to buy. I am stuck with a lawnmower (that had an expensive piece fall off of the handle) and tweo bad batteries out of three within a year. Dewalt needs to do better. This product is subpar and ruins their reputation as a quality brand. Make quality products or do not make it at all. I am not a heavy user. I was mowing a slightly smaller then average lawn in the city and honestly, I do not mow that often.
