[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought for me on Mother's Day. Love that trimmer spools are available and did buy additional spools for using with trimmer. So far very happy with the trimmer.
The green charger shown in the pictures is not the charger we received. We were sent a cheaper black charger; we were not pleased with this bait and switch tactic.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Powerful
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fresh out of the box not even able to cut my lawn for 15 minutes until it runs out of battery. Just enough to make you mad that you started to begin with and your yard looks worse than if you hadn’t done anything. I can only imagine the 5 Star reviews are bot reviews or people living in Barbie’s dream house sized mowing areas. Truth be told it’s a waste of money and even getting a second set of batteries won’t solve the problem as the charging time VASTLY outweighs the run time. Will be looking to return

Hello RunningOnEmpty. We are sorry to hear you are unhappy with the runtime you are getting. The 48v self-propelled lawn mower cuts up to 1/2 acre when using the (2) fully charged 5Ah batteries (included). The maximum advertised run time is based on no load. It is important to recognize that the Runtimes can vary depending on a few factors, including but not limited to if the self-propel feature is used throughout the entire cut, grass texture and consistency, cutting height, and lawn size. Please note, users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. . It is unfortunate to read that you are looking to return the unit, if you wish to address your concerns directly with one of our product specialists first, please contact us by Live Chat through the customer contact page located on our website or call Greenworks toll-free helpline at 1-888-909-6757 before returning to the store. We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see whether your run time would be considered average.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this product for some time now and it’s been great! The mower is lightweight and easy to use, the weed eater slices like butter, and the leaf blower is the best I’ve ever owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my daughter since she didn't have one. As we know, a string trimmer is a required tool for home maintenance. The light weight and many features make this a top notch choice to use for lawn care.
I purchased this trimmer, but the auto feeding doesn’t work, so consequently, I have to continuously stop, take the head apart, and manually pull out the string to keep trimming. This is a waste of a tremendous amount of time and string. This is the absolute worst. Don’t buy it.

Hello AWFUL,
Thank you for sharing your experience. The auto-feed feature works by releasing 1/4" of line each time the unit starts/stops. To see if this feature is working for you simply release the start trigger 10 and see if the line length changes. When you are using the trimmer, we do advise to release the start trigger periodically to advance additional line. This will be needed more frequently if you are using this around the fence or hard surfaces. Please ensure that the guard is always on the unit while in operation. This will prevent the line from extending too far out and breaking off at a large length, which will cause it to go back inside the spool housing and cause a jam. We have share a video below showing how to use the auto-feed, this is a different unit but the feature will be similar. (https://youtu.be/NZA-4XLeMtQ). We hope this information helped! Should you have any questions or warranty needs, contact us through Live Chat on Greenworks Tools www.greenworkstools.com or call 1-888-909-6757 (1-888-90WORKS). We would like the opportunity to speak with you to see if we can find a solution.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems like a nice tool, but string does not advance when needed. Tap and go does not seem to work. After using for one complete battery charge, the trimmer has lost power, and fails to start turning. Even when assisting it to start turning, it doesn't have enough power to cut. Tried new battery, same thing. Checked to make sure there is nothing wound around the head, and there is not. Not happy with this unit.
Pros: Environmentally Safe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
