Poor string feed

Bought this hoping that the "self feed" vs "bump feed" would work better. Does not. I still have to stop, open the cap, advance the string, etc. The single battery doesn't last through my front and back yard. Tried to purchase a second battery in store but they didn't carry it.

The auto-feed system is designed to advance the line automatically when the trigger is released and engaged, but if the line is not feeding properly, it may be due to how the spool is wound or if the line is stuck. Making sure the line is wound tightly and not crossed over itself can often improve performance.
Regarding runtime, the included 2.0Ah battery typically provides up to 20–30 minutes of use, depending on grass type and trimming conditions. For larger yards, many users find it helpful to keep a spare battery on hand. Additional 24V batteries are available directly through our website at www.greenworkstools.com, as well as through authorized retailers such as Amazon, Lowe’s, and Home Depot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great trimmer that has plenty of power and isn't hard on batteries. I like being able to swap battery with other tools and plan to build up my collection of the 24v system. I normally like gas powered equipment but there is no denying how easy it is to swap in a battery and go. Having more than one battery means I can have one on charge if needed and don't have to stop longer than a few seconds though I don't have to with this setup, just a little over half acre to trim and around buildings, garden with no issues on one small battery. Cuts normal grass with no effort and weeds don't slow it down much at all. It's also lighter weight than the old gas powered ones I had before so it saves my back a bit there.

So I have to buy 2 more batteries and still have to wait for charging it. So task don't complete in one straight settings.. good for small yards..
