Makes yard work so much easier !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've got admit it, my time spent doing yard work has been made 100% easier thanks to adding this Greenworks string trimmer. On days when I don't want to drag out my lawn mower I love being able to simply whip out our green works string trimmer and easily give my yard a clean trim as needed. I also love how easy this string trimmer is to operate! I'm a fairly slim but short women at just 5 foot 2 120lbs and find this trimmer is very light weight and comfortable to use. Battery life on this green works trimmer lasts about 2 1/2 hours but it takes only 30 minutes to an hour to get the work I need it to get done. This trimmer definitely gets the job done fast and tears down weeds with such ease. I've been using this trimmer a lot lately to cut up the grass that grows through the fence extending into our driveway.
So if your in the market for a yard work tool that will help you save so much time but keep your yard looking good I highly recommend this Greenworks String Trimmer ! I honestly didn't realize how much I needed this Greenworks trimmer until I finally used one and now I can't picture my life without it.

Hard worker for battery powered!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite feature of this Greenworks cordless string trimmer is how lightweight it is. It's surprisingly strong for a battery operated yard tool. The battery lasts longer than one whole yard (front and back). Half an acre total here. The packaging and instructions made it quick to set up (couple mintues). I recommend to anyone with a yard!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried Greenworks Tools - 24V CORDLESS 12" TORQDRIVE™ STRING TRIMMER W/ 2.0 AH BATTERY and feel its an excellent choice if you are looking for a battery operated (rechargeable) lightweight string trimmer. This was easy to set up and use. I think its great for small to medium sized string trimming jobs. I like that it does not make as much noise or smells as a traditional gas powered string trimmer. I will definitely be using this tool for future yard work jobs I'm doing at home. It works great and is really easy for me in particular to use. I recommend this highly if you want a string trimmer that does not need a cord or gasoline. I love that the battery is rechargeable and that the string trimmer is wireless. Its an excellent tool.

Little with a lot of power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Little with a lot of power!! I live on a ranch so there’s a lot of grass area that needs tending to. I used this in the back portion of my house and let me tell you that this cordless trimmer was amazing. It grabs all the weeds and things around the edge of the grass super quickly and gets them all the way down to basically nothing my grass has never looked better! Just be careful though because it is a very powerful little tool. its super lightweight as well which I love. nor hard on the hands and even has a extra handle for That precision cut your looking for.

Light weight and trims very well. But when edging the string disappears nearly at point of contact. Not a good edger.

We are sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. The line often breaks when trimming around pavements, curbs, pots etc., this is because it tends to slap against the hard surface instead of soft growth and this can shear or abrade it rapidly. This is why it is important to just cut with the tip of the line. It still wears rapidly, but just a little bit at a time rather than in large pieces. A cutting knife at the perimeter of the guard on the trimmer keeps the line trimmed and prevents it hitting or extending beyond the guard. This knife should be sharp; otherwise it won't cut the line. If you notice this problem, you can sharpen it with a file, sharpening stone, or angle grinder.

Light and handy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in exchange for my review. I was quite excited to have access to a trimmer that I am able to use. The trimmer is lightweight which is perfect for anyone and the battery was sufficient to allow me to complete my yard on one charge. I like that it’s not the crazy loud gas powered trimmer we typically use and that it’s more environmentally friendly by using a rechargeable battery! I have been able to let my 12yr old use as well without any difficulty maneuvering the trimmer. I would definitely purchase on my own

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't expect much from a battery operated trimmer. I got much more than I expected. Surprisingly powerful motor that can drive the strong through burmuda grass. The guide bar is useful for trimming around trees, poles and under hedges. Unbelievably light weight for the power it delivers. Battery power more than adequate four taking on walkways, edging and for making fence lines look neat.

Cords no more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am used to using a string trimmer with a cord, which I hate. I was so excited to get one without a cord. This trimmer is easy to use and not as heavy as corded ones I have used. The handle is in the perfect place so it doesn’t strain my forearm. The battery charges quickly and last a long time. I love that I don’t have to worry about finding an outlet and not having enough cord length. This is my favorite trimmer, by far.
