I’ve had the 40v GMax string trimmer for close to 3 years and the line will not advance any longer. Can this be repaired or am I stuck having to purchase another trimmer? It worked great when it was working properly. I have a gas trimmer for over 10 years but it became too difficult to start with my bad shoulder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm never going back to gas. The works every time I need it and no maintenance but refilling the string. Batteries last long enough for me to cut about 1/4 acre non stop as long as I don't let the grass get too long. Very happy with the purchase.

Saw the 1 battery products used on his Old House and they were just what I'was waiting 4 - . Products that actually worked had power and interchangeable batteries. I was tired of having so many batteries to keep up with and store thank you Green Works I had previously used other products from Greenworks however oh, these lightweight One battery powerful tools make my yard work a lot efficient and easier and they make life easier and that's what it's all about. Now my service dog Sister Mary Louise and I have more play time
