[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lexar NM790 is a good all around solid state drive. It has fast read speed and was easy to install on my desktop. I would recommend easily. I received the 1TB version, but it comes in up to a 4TB version that seems worth the price.

It’s 1 terabyte and the installation was the easiest thing ever just take off the back piece of your computer find the ssd slot and remove the post and insert it then put the post pack then bam a easy terabyte with no hassle. The speed is noticeable some games do load quicker. The part even comes with its own screw for the post if you need one. Overall 10/10 card would recommend.

Solid Boost for My Aging PC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The difference hit me immediately. It claims up to 7400 MB/s reads and 6500 MB/s writes, way faster than my old SATA. Boot times dropped from 30 seconds to under 10. Games like Cyberpunk load almost instantly now, no more stuttering. I tested with CrystalDiskMark on my Ryzen 5 5600X setup with 16GB RAM – got around 7200 MB/s reads and 6400 MB/s writes. Random IOPs are high too, up to about 1,000,000 reads, making everything snappier.
It skips a DRAM cache and uses Host Memory Buffer instead, which keeps power low and works great for my mixed use. Temps stayed below 60°C, no throttling. It's even PS5-ready if needed.
It's not flawless – sustained writes slow after the SLC cache fills, like during huge file transfers, dropping to maybe 1500 MB/s. But for daily tasks, it's fine. Endurance is 1000 TBW, plenty for me.
This upgrade revived my PC without a full rebuild. If your system's lagging and supports Gen4, the NM790 is a smart pick for real-world gains. Just confirm your board's compatibility to avoid Gen3 capping. Definitely recommend it!

Great storage, love this stuff!

It was a very easy to install if you are familiar with a motherboard. It was very quick to get to the login. Load up speed for the PC was like an Apple iPad. This is some premium storage. Do not hesitate to buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Of course, plopping a new SSD in is never hard to do, and this was no different - quick easy installation and no comparability issues w my Frankensteined desktop and definitely no overheating either. I actually didn’t realize I had purchased the 1 TB and meant to get a 2TB, but it got the job done WELL and I can shove this one into my PlayStation 5 (it’s above the recommended specs )when I upgrade.
Surprisingly well performing drive for what it is, MM790 is definitely the way to go in the series, you won’t be disappointed.
