Great Value SSD – Fast, Cool, and Easy to Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently picked up the Lexar NM790 1TB for my PC build, and I’m genuinely impressed. Installation was super easy — just popped it into the M.2 slot, and my system recognized it instantly. No issues at all.
The speeds are as advertised. I’m getting close to 7400 MB/s read and 6500 MB/s write in CrystalDiskMark, which makes loading games and transferring files feel instant. My design software and large files also open much faster now.
One thing I love is that it runs cool even without a heatsink — definitely cooler than I expected for a Gen4 drive. No thermal throttling so far.
For the price, this SSD is honestly one of the best deals out there. It works perfectly in my desktop, and I’ve read it's great for PS5 too. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-speed NVMe drive without spending a fortune, I definitely recommend the NM790.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quick installation and no issues out the box. Read/write speed is within 10% of the notated box speed as well. Fit right into the PlayStation5 and quickly transferred all the game files over to it in under 4mins.

Boot times are lightning fast, and apps open almost instantly. Installation was super easy, and it runs cool and quiet even during heavy use. Lexar NM790 M.2 SSD more bang more performance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lexar NM790 M.2 2280 SSD is lightning fast easy to install and works with most motherboards as long as they support the GEN4 M.2s! Things that took a few minutes to load on a hard drive, and up to a minute and a half on older SSDs load in literal seconds on this new drive. The Lexar brand may not be the most recognizable brand in the PC components field but it offers a great bang for your buck in performance! I would recommend this SSD for anyone looking to improve speed and reliability over any older drive!

Solid SSD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this in return for my honest feedback and decided to use it to upgrade my PS5 storage and it works great. Fast load times and no issues so far. Just a heads-up, it doesn’t come with a heatsink, which the PS5 requires. I bought a separate one and it fit fine. Overall, really solid SSD for the price. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking to expand your PS5 storage.
