Super fast SSD !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the lexar nm790 nvme 1TB SSD for almost a week now and I have to say i am super impressed by the performance. The smoothness and speed boost is very noticeable. All of my games load significantly faster and everything feels like butter. Installation was simple and easy and my pc loved it instantly. In game experience improved a lot game stutters have almost disappeared and gaming is more engaging and enjoyable. As a gaming geek for me the performance to price ratio is great and it feels like a real upgrade to my gaming setup .

Works well so far!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Lexar NM790 was fairly easy to install, similar to other nvmes. It was a simple drop into my custom build pc. I had an extra slot in my motherboard that can take an additional nvme drive. It appears to work well so far and was recognized within my system. I did some simple tests and the speed appears to match what’s advertised since I have PCI Gen4 Slots.
Highly suggest: make sure to read the instructions if you aren’t familiar with installing a nvme. Don’t forgot to format the drive within windows to be recognized.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This drive absolutely delivers. The built-in heat spreader keeps temps under control even during heavy transfers, and copying data from my main drive to this SSD was blazing fast. No hiccups, no lag—just solid performance.
Also appreciated the minimal packaging. No plastic clamshell wrestling match, no pile of trash after unboxing. Just plug and play. For the price, it’s honestly a fantastic value.

Easy to install and upgrades your system in a snap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am quite impressed with this product. It has sped up my latitude 7400 and with now a TB of space it’s a breath of fresh air! I have enjoyed upgrading. The drive just needs to be installed into the motherboard and then you’re good to go. Now I am able to have a few on the go games installed and it’s my cheap gaming laptop. Apps I have installed took a bit to get running but now it is so snappy and quick! Really nice to find the drive came with a screw to put it in the motherboard so don’t throw away the box and stuff! Overall I would say it’s a great way to give your system a quick upgrade on space. The speed of the system has really improved also.

Huge improvement

File transfers are much faster, and after moving Windows over, my PC now boots in seconds and games load noticeably quicker. Installation was straightforward—it slotted right in and instantly felt like an easy upgrade that boosted my whole PC experience. While I can’t measure the power efficiency myself, I trust it’s more efficient than a hard drive. With its compact design and strong speeds, it’s also a great way to expand storage on a PS5, making it a versatile upgrade for both PC and console.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the Lexar NM790 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD, and so far I’m very pleased with it. The drive looks solid and well-built, with a clean and professional design that gives confidence in the product’s quality. Installation was quick and easy, and it was immediately recognized by my system without any issues.
In terms of performance, it works great. The system boots up fast, programs load instantly, and overall responsiveness has improved noticeably. The read and write speeds are consistent with what’s advertised, and I haven’t experienced any throttling or instability so far. It feels like a very reliable option for both everyday tasks and heavier workloads.
For context, a year ago I bought a Samsung SSD (1 TB) which failed exactly after one year of use. That was a big disappointment since I expected longer reliability from such a well-known brand. Because of that, I decided to try Lexar this time. Now I’m really curious to see how this drive will perform over time and whether it will prove to be more durable in the long run.
Overall, at this point I can say it’s an excellent purchase — it looks good, works flawlessly, and provides peace of mind thanks to its performance. If it holds up well with time, this could become my new go-to SSD brand.
