Door sensor is faulty

Bought this in March 2024 and it was installed in June 2024. In late January, the sensor started beeping indicating the door is opened when it is in fact not. Appliance repair guy came and found factory foam insulation covering the door reed switch. Now the cover of the switch is scratched. Further, the beeping came back a few hours after the repair guy left! So, this is still an on going issue. Disappointed.

Sometimes, items inside can obstruct the door from shutting completely. Inspect the gasket (rubber seal around the door) for any dirt, damage, or misalignment that could prevent a tight seal. Unplug the freezer from the power outlet for 5-10 minutes to reset the control system. Replacement for previous

Bought this one to replace the last one that died a month after its warranty ran out. Gone are the days of appliances lasting decades, if they make five years I guess you’re doing well. We went with this one again after the repair company recommended by Fridgaire provided such bad service Fridgaire had to step in and make things right. The service provided by Fridgaire was exceptional.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has been in our home for a couple months now and it is awesome! Spacious, all parts are easily accessible for quick storage and it’s very easy to find what you’re looking for

Drawers don't fit

This is our second one and the quality has changed. Both drawer does not fit into the groove and falls down on one side when you open them. The installer looked at it and said he can't fix it because it is a manufacturing error. Also the new trim kit doesn't fit properly and costs double the price now. The installer had tried 4 different days and even took it home to cut pieces off. Very disappointed because my brand new all fridge and freezer have blue painters tape to stop it scratching our custom cabinetry and it looks terrible
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect organization

This fridge freezer side by side combination with trim kit was exactly what we were looking for to complete our kitchen. The freezer organization is amazing. The internal ice system is incredible. We never run out of ice even when entertaining. The perfect combo for a large capacity fridge and freezer option.
