Operating instructions were clear. Temp setting produces waffles the way you like them and allows you to make waffles without a timer. The waffles came out golden brown and crispy the first time we used it.

Perfect size. There’s no guessing when the waffle is done. I like the thinner (not Belgian waffle thick) style waffle. It’s like my mom used to make, but with modern features.

Just like I remember from years ago. I had a Belgium waffle maker, but prefer the thinner waffle. This waffle maker let's you know when they are ready. The other one was a guess, when you saw no more steam, supposedly it was done. Well sometimes it was too dark and not quite ready and still uncooked. This one let's you know when the light changes. Good with Krusteaz mix. Haven't tried from scratch yet.

Good waffle maker, Have to be a little careful with the parts as the plastic handle broke off when closing the machine after only a few uses. Still works great though.
