Not too long ago I purchased another brand of waffle maker that made Belgian waffles. After a couple servings we realized we needed to go back to the "old" brand we had before, which was a Cuisinart Classic Waffle maker. SO, I returned that "other brand", being honest that it HAD been used a couple times and why I was returning it. We are SO happy to have this Cuisinart style of waffle maker again. It is easy to use, to maintain, to store and more importantly, it makes a waffle that is denser and tastier than the other kind. It definitely makes a style of waffle that our taste buds and tummies enjoy. Thank you Cuisinart!

The little plastic piece that is used to raise/lower browning level fell off right away. I am still able to move the metal piece underneath it though. GF waffle batter needs higher temperature. The waffles were not bad at all. There is a sound of a loose object inside the waffle maker. I wonder if there is another broken piece. I only used. It once. My previous one a different brand only lasted 4 times. I am hoping this one lasts longer.

The second time that I used this product the slide that controls the temperature broke off. I had a previous one just like it and the bottom part came off in my hand after about 5 months of use. I am so disappointed because I have loved this model for the last 20 years. I am now in search of a better, longer lasting product.

This is a basic cheap waffle iron which makes waffles fine. Definitely not like the 30 year heavy duty quality one we replaced but there is just two of us and when we want waffles it gets the job done. No frills needed.
