Mine is a little wonky when closed. It doesn’t heat evenly throughout. Waffles aren’t evenly browned. For the price it’s fine.

It does a nice job making waffles but is not solid in its construction. The lid wobbles from side to side and the dial to set the cooking time slides practically on its own.
