The heating element of my mother’s toastmaster waffle iron finally wore out after 80 years of use. It was a true iron and made delicious crisp waffles. This little gadget with a wobbly lid could never make a true waffle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received this product as a Christmas gift. Have used it a couple of times since then and has worked great! Produces nice golden brown waffles just how I like it. Only comment is I wish the waffle maker was just a tad bit bigger to make bigger waffles, but that is a very minor comment.
Handle broke 1st use with min., if any, pressure..
I would recommend this to a friend!

This waffle maker does exactly what it's supposed to do. There is a slide to adjust the darkness of the waffle. This is not a Belgian waffle maker; the waffles are regular height. It cooks quickly.
I have yet to make traditional waffles since I bought this, but I have made some amazing zucchini fritter waffles, flax and avocado waffles, and potato fritter waffles in it!
