On a positive note, truly non-stick, even with oil-free batter. But the temp control is loose, so a level "3" and a "4" come out the same. There are very brief instruction provided; online instructions include important info such as "Wash well before first use." Online also says to "spread the batter," don't just pour in the middle and press down, which is what I initially did and had waffles that were more cooked around the outsides and less done in the middle.
Also, the sides get very, very hot.
Would not recommend. Looking for a replacement.

Okay, I love waffles. I asked for one thing for Christmas, and that was a waffle maker. I for multiple and this was the one I kept and use. I've made many waffles since and the non-stick surface is still in tact and clean. It heats up quickly, and may be about the same time as a toaster waffle to cook, but so much more delicious. My mornings have changed for the better. Thank you!

Surprisingly light weight. The setting on the waffle iron does not produce a golden brown waffle. What I got was a white, less than golden waffle.
