I turned on the waffle maker and stated to make waffles on a Saturday morning. The first waffle turned out perfectly, but then the device shut off and no longer worked.

The waffle maker is easy to use, and makes waffles in a minimum of time. However, the heat distribution is not good. There is a defined ring of higher heat that is not evenly distributed across the grid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
