This little waffle maker should be considered part of standard kitchen appliances. There are so many things that one can make with this little machine that I don't know why I waited so long to make this purchase. It's not only for breakfast. We had some fantastic chocolate waffle bowls for our hot fudge sundaes the other evening. The possibilities are endless. And the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls in a can that I used to not care much for are soooo delicious after being cooked in this waffle maker that I am now a fan!!!
I bought this primarily because I wanted to make the classic waffles. I am of Belgian ancestry and love the Belgian waffles, but I have a recipe for waffle cookies that my Belgian grandmother used to make and they are better in the classic style. The waffle maker works well and I am happy to have found one to suit my purpose.
I bought this waffle maker after reviewing several others. This one had all the features I wanted and needed to make waffles for the two of us. It's at the right price point too. Quick and easy recipe included. I made perfect waffles the first time.
Since the recipe makes 7 waffles and is more than we can eat at one breakfast, I froze the extras. When we wanted one at for other breakfasts, we just pull what we wanted out of the freezer and popped it in the toaster with the bagel setting.
Our grandchildren spend some time with us on the weekend and were requestig waffles. So naturally I went shopping for a waffle maker. I bought this about 2 months ago and we used it right away. I wanted a traditional waffle as opposed to a belgian waffle. And I didn't want anything too large, fancy, complicated. Oh and it should be easy to store. This is perfect! We use it often and it's super easy to use and clean up is a snap.
I bought this a month ago and I'm happy with it. It works great and it stores better than other waffle makers. If I had to pinpoint one thing I don't care for, it'd have to be the sliding browning selector. It's a little loose feeling.
