I've only used this once but was very happy with my results. I would like the dark setting to be darker but I just left the waffle in a few minutes longer. DO pay attention to the amount of batter you put into the waffle maker. Clean up of the waffle maker was quick and easy but I won't be over anxious next time. It stores nicely, all folded up, on my countertop.
THIS IS A REPLACEMENT WAFFLE MAKER FOR CUISINART. Ist ONE WIRES PULLED OFF THE TERMINALS WHEN LIFTING COVER, THEN FINALLY QUIT.THIS REPLACE MENT IS A REGULAR WAFFLE MAKER & WAFFLES ARE SO THIN, WILL REPLACE WITH DIFFERENT BRAND!!!!!!!
It’s a simple device that works well. It is fairly hefty and does not slide around on the counter. The waffles are properly cooked and do not stick. We have used it several times, and we are very pleased with the results. Of course, I wish that it were made in the United States instead of in China. Overall, it has been a great little waffle maker.
We haven't made waffles at home for years as our old waffle maker was hard to use and harder to clean. Now enjoying waffles at home again! Only problem: I'm the one who makes the waffles while my wife enjoys another cup of coffee in bed.
I Purchased this to replace an old Belgian waffle maker there was about 25 years old. After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this regular waffle maker as a replacement. The waffles are thinner just like my mom used to make. I have the opportunity to make a lot more recipes because of this. I tried putting cheese and bacon bits in a standard recipe and it was amazing. What's great is that because of their thickness, which really isn't that thin. I can freeze a bunch and take them out and break them apart and put them in the toaster. Voilà just like the day they were baked!
