The heat adjustment on the waffle maker is loose and seems to not accurately adjust the maker. As a result, it is difficult to get crisp waffles. Also the heating elements in the maker do not seem to be evenly distributed. As a result, part of the waffles end up being less well done than other parts. I would have expected a better product from this brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
