So far so good, the startup smell was difficult to deal with, but the included material lets you know to expect it which was helpful. It did a great job with the waffles, they turned out really good. I was looking for an economical waffle iron, we don't do waffles often enough that I wanted to get anything fancy. I also wasn't interested in one that I had to flip the whole cooker over to get my waffles done.
It’s a great waffle maker. Definitely not Belgium waffles that have the deep ridges and thick crust but more of a light feel where you can make thin and crispy waffles that aren’t so dense. Has a great automatic timer.
I keep going back to this waffle maker because I love a thinner waffle and that's what i get with the Cuisinart Classic Waffle Maker. I don't know why so many others think the Belgian style waffle is what people want. They're too thick for me.
