I had purchased another brand previously, followed the recipe and directions to the letter, and all I can say is what a mess! And it was a nightmare to clean. When I tried the Cuisinart round waffle maker, I was very impressed with the variable temperature settings to make waffles to individual preferences. It made nice neat waffles fast. And very easy to clean. Very glad I bought it.

A great waffle maker-easy to use and clean-makes very consistent waffles every time! The only thing to watch (until you learn how) is that it is easy to put too much batter in the maker. Depending on the brand of mix you use, the recommended amount of batter will vary. I tried 2/3 cup as directions on mix said and it was too much and ran out the sides. About 1/2 cup is perfect which is what the instructions say for this waffle iron.
