I cook with organic foods, and this little waffle maker was just right for me. I sometimes like to make waffles instead of toast. I am unable to remove the metal waffle pressers to clean them like I am able to in my larger, slower and much heavier grill and waffle maker. And I cook with butter; but I think it is OK if I dish cloth clean the metal waffle presses. The time settings lever just kind of floats and it does not seem to properly control cooking time with the green light. But I just got this and I think I can figure out a way to get the time lever to give me the right amount of cooking for the size waffle I make.

I had this model previously and it worked perfectly for 19 years !!
It did get worn and a little slow so I ordered a new one. It is fast and efficient. I love this Cuisinart Waffle Maker.

This waffle maker works as described. Easy to use and store. It cooks evenly and browns all the way to the edges. I'm not sure the level selection is very sensitive and doneness seems to depend more on the thickness of the batter. The top is also rather loose and wiggles from side to side. Hopefully it will hold up long term. Very easy to stand up and slide in to the storage shelf!
