At this price point & brand I must admit I expected more. It is extremely difficult to clean (probably needs removable plates) & the toggle for temp is loose & seems very cheaply made. Also the cord wrap/secure upright storage is not the best. On a positive note, it does cook waffles well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this classic waffle maker. Belgium waffles are great, but I love this thinner traditional style from my childhood. Great browning control, fast and easy clean up makes this my go to for versatile meals. It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Easy to use. Fast. Large enough to do the job and stores easily. My only problem with it is that it is not 100% non-stick and I don't feel I can adequately clean the plates without using detergent and rinsing with my sink hose. Although I am careful, I am concerned I might get water inside the unit. In a nutshell, great little waffle maker, easy to store, but personally, I am not satisfied with just wiping out with a wet paper towel.
